Auto-Pay Terms

Card-on-file automatic payments · Version 2026-06-15

What this is

bittybiz lets you save a payment card so the kids you hire are reliably paid for completed work without you having to remember to check out. Saving a card and enabling auto-pay is optional. You can pay every job manually instead, and you can remove your card at any time. By saving a card and checking the authorization box, you agree to these terms.

Your authorization

When you save a card for auto-pay, this is what you authorize:

I authorize bittybiz to charge my saved card for any service job I have completed but not paid, if it stays unpaid more than 3 days after completion. These charges are unscheduled — they happen only when I leave a completed job unpaid — and each charge equals that job's price (which I set, up to $1,000) plus the service fee shown at checkout. bittybiz will email me a reminder before charging and a receipt after. I can remove my card at any time to stop automatic charges and pay manually, and I can dispute any charge.

When we charge your card

These charges are unscheduled — there is no fixed billing date and no subscription. We only charge your saved card when a kid marks a job complete and you haven’t paid it within 3 days. A kid marking a job complete never charges you on its own; only the passage of time without payment does. You can always pay sooner with one tap from your job history.

How much we charge

Each automatic charge equals the price of that specific job — the amount you set when you posted it (up to $1,000) — plus the service fee shown at checkout (currently 6% of the job price). We never charge more than the total shown for a job, and we never charge for jobs you’ve already paid.

Notice and receipts

If a completed job is still unpaid after 2 days, we email you a reminder that states the amount and the date your card will be charged. After any automatic charge, we email you a receipt. If a charge fails, we email you and ask you to pay another way.

How to cancel (remove your card)

You can turn off auto-pay at any time by removing your card from your Payment settings. Removing your card takes effect immediately and revokes this authorization — after that, you simply pay each job manually. Canceling is as easy as a single click; you do not need to contact us.

Disputes and refunds

If you believe a charge is wrong, you can remove your card to stop any future charges, and you retain all rights to dispute the charge directly with your card issuer. We may decline future auto-pay if a card is repeatedly disputed or fails.

Your card’s security

Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure, PCI-compliant pages and stored by Stripe — bittybiz never sees or stores your full card number. We keep only a record of your consent (the date, this terms version, and a reference to your saved card) so we can honor and evidence this authorization.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change how auto-pay works, we’ll publish an updated version here and ask you to re-authorize before the new terms apply to you. The version that governs your card is the one you agreed to when you saved it, recorded in your account.

Contact

You can manage your card and review every charge anytime from your Payment settings. For billing questions, you can also dispute any charge directly with your card issuer.

These Auto-Pay Terms supplement bittybiz’s general terms of service. bittybiz is a platform that connects young entrepreneurs with neighborhood customers; payments are processed by Stripe.
